Ultimate Detox Juice
Activated charcoal binds to certain poisons, heavy metals, and other toxins and flush them from your body, making it a wonder substance for acute and general detoxification. For this juice we used one of my favourite green juice recipes then added about 1/5 tsp of activated charcoal.
Ingredients
- 3 or 4 kale or spinach leaves
- 2 sticks of celery
- 1 wedge lemon with skin
- 1 knob of ginger
- 7 cm piece of cucumber
- optional granny smith apple to sweeten the juice
Directions
When juicing, alternate between hard and soft produce, start by adding some cucumber, then add a little ginger, then a bit of apple, then a bit of celery. The harder or more fibrous produce helps to push the pulp of the softer produce through the Oscar Juicer.
